Inpatient Care at Sky Lakes Medical Center

A dedicated unit is located at Sky Lakes Medical Center for patients receiving a total joint replacement.  Specialty-trained nurses help patients recover after surgery and prepare to go home. Certified Nursing Assistants are assigned to patients to help make them more comfortable and manage pain levels.

In addition to the nurses and doctors, physical, respiratory and occupational therapists, pharmacists, X-ray technicians, diet aides, and others are a part of the care team. Together, they will provide safe, high-quality, and personalized care under the guidance of a physician.

Sky Lakes Medical Center strives to provide exceptional care in superior accomodations. We always want you to be a part of decisions and personalize your care. In each dedicated joint replacement room, there is a board where you and your care providers will track your progress and reach your goal of going home to continue recovering. The patient communication board will not only allow the clinicians to communicate with each other regarding your status, but you will be able to help participate in goal-making and track your achievements.
